Iza Calzado's dad, Direk Lito Calzado, has passed away earlier this afternoon due to liver cancer at Saint Luke’s Medical City in Quezon City.
According to an interview with GMA news TV live, Lito Calazado's death at the age of 65 was confirmed by Noel Ferrer, talent manager of Iza Calzado.
In the meantime, Iza Calzado's family is requesting the media and public to keep their privacy in mourning the death of her father.
The older Calzado was a former choreographer/dancer.
His remains will be brought to Arlington Chapel.
Iza Calzado is set to appear as a guest on "The Kitchen Musicale."
