Georgina Wilson to be featured in 'America's Next Top Model'

MANILA, Philippines - Model and VJ Georgina Wilson will be joining the ranks of top Filipino designers Michael Cinco and Oliver Tolentino as she is set to make an appearance on hit fashion reality show "America's Next Top Model" (ANTM).

Wilson announced on microblogging site Twitter on Wednesday that she will be a guest model/stylist in the 17th cycle of the show, representing local clothing company Bench.

Bench Body, the brand's underwear line, served as the clothing sponsor for the semifinals of the said ANTM season.

Wilson said the episode was shot in Greece and will air on November 9 in the United States. It will be shown in the Philippines on November 14.

"SO EXCITED to announce something that I've been keeping for so long now! I will be in this season of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL!!!! Season 17!" Wilson wrote.

"It makes me so proud to represent the Philippines in a show that I love.

"I joined as a guest model/stylist. I told the girls what to do for their semi finals challenge!"

Bench, for its part, wrote on its official Twitter page, "Georgina Wilson @iloveGEORGINA, a @BenchTM ambassador will be featured in America's Next Top Model together with Bench Body. MUST SEE TV!"

Hours after Wilson's announcement, "America's Next Top Model" became the third top trending topic in the Philippines on Twitter.

Wilson is a permanent fixture in the country's modeling scene, gracing one magazine cover after another. She has also appeared in several television commercials and music videos as well as on billboards along major thoroughfares in the metropolis.

Meanwhile, Wilson said Cinco, a Dubai-based Filipino designer, made the contestants' outfits for the ANTM finals this season.

"My love @michael5inco is also featured in this season. Super bongga he made the outfits for the finals!! We were together in Greece," she tweeted.
