John Lloyd admits relationship with Shaina is on the rocks

MANILA, Philippines - After months of denying rumors that he is no longer happy with Shaina Magdayao, hunk actor John Lloyd Cruz admitted that his relationship with the actress is on the rocks.

"To be honest, hindi maganda ang bagay bagay ngayon. 'Yon lang ang masasabi ko. Ang mga bagay ngayon, they are not looking good," Cruz said in an interview during his contract signing with ABS-CBN on Monday.

Cruz made it clear, however, that this has nothing to do with any of his ex-girlfriends particularly Ruffa Gutierrez, who allegedly lambasted Magdayao via microblogging site Twitter.

"Hindi. Walang kinalaman. Walang kinalaman 'yon doon. Ang ibang tao na hindi parte ng buhay namin, huwag na nating idamay. Ako na mismo ang nagsasabi, walang kinalaman si Ruffa o kahit sinong ex-girlfriend ko," he said.

The actor refused to give further details.

"I'd rather na tumahimik muna ako until sana ay maayos namin o mabigyan ng closure kung anuman. At this point, the best thing for me to do is to keep quiet," he said.

Asked if he is still in love with Magdayao, Cruz told abs-cbnNEWS.com: "Oo naman. Hindi 'yon mawawala at mananatili lang 'yon doon. Ayaw ko lang magbigay ng statement na makakalala."

"I can only hope for the best, di lang sa sarili ko kung di sa aming dalawa," he added.
