Rain or Shine wins one-point ahead of Brgy Ginebra

As the 37th season of PBA opens, the lone game between Barangay Ginebra and Rain or Shine started to clash around 6pm earlier.

Paul Lee shines as he was inspired getting into the game with the loud cheers of the Barangay Ginebra fans, making them the underdog.

But before the start of the game, there were a few personalities who were awarded hall of famers. Among them on the list are:
  • MVP Alvin Patrimonio
  • coach Tommy Manotoc, 
  • Freddie Hubalde, 
  • the late Commissioner Mariano Yenko, 
  • ex-Mariwasa coach and national team mentor Tito Eduque, 
  • Carlos ‘Bobong’ Velez, 
  • and Billy Ray Bates, 
With the return of Siot Tanquingcen as coach of the Kings and the pro debut of former amateur star Paul Lee for the Elasto Painters, the very first game win for Elasto Painters nailed it under the advisory of Paul Lee.
