First ever Pinoy Biggest Loser Grandwinner lost 101 pounds

Manila, Philippines - After intense training in the camp for more than four months, Larry Martin, an ex-cop, loses the highest weight percentage among the Fab 5 with 39.61% or losing about 101 lbs.

The first ever Pinoy's Biggest Loser winner was announced last October 8 at the Ynares Center in Pasig City. The Fab 5 had their final weigh-ins in the competition. Martin being named as the grandwinner joined BLPE having 255 lbs and lost 101 lbs in the finals.

Martin took home P1 million, a condominium unit from DCMI Homes, a Vespa scooter, a 40-inch Sony Bravia Internet TV, Whirlpool appliances, P100,000 worth of salon services, and a lifetime gym membership from Fitness First. He will also appear on the November issue of Men's Health Magazine.

Martin was a police officer in Camarines Sur, but was relieved from his post for failing to meet the 34-inch waistline limit.

The other runner-ups in order are: Art Mendoza, Raffy Tan, Angela Chico-Lupangco, Hazel Chua. CEO and Chairman Gabby Lopez surprised the runner ups announcing that they will all receive a cash prize of P 500,000 each.
