Glee Season 3 suffers Low Rating on its Pilot Episode

Glee's comeback at Season 3 which was aired last September 20 with episode entitled "The Purple Piano Project" was unable to maintain its high rating as compared to Season 2 last year. With over 8.7 million viewers, the show's premiere was said to be getting only a rating of 4.0 on its pilot episode. Season 2 pilot episode was at 5.5 last year.

Why all of a sudden the series has dropped its rating?

Some critics would likely believe that it has suffered its rating in viewership due to Charice was not already part of the show. Most of the Charice's fans want her to be on the show as a guest so that the ratings will soar high.

Another interesting keypoint which fans no longer appreciate and watch the series is that most of the lead casts were believed to "graduate" this season. Cory Monteith, lea Michele and Chris Colfer are said to graduate on this season. If this will not change, it will probably get back to the ratings similar to Season 2.

However, don't be dismayed that much since there are reports that the shows executive producer Brad Falchuk explained that while they will graduate at the end of the season, it won't mean that they will also leave the show. So there will still be an appearance of your favorite lead stars!
